Episode 1. - The cockpit

This episode will take You through the upgrading, assembly, painting and weathering, of the Prat & Whitney R-2800 Engine that comes with the 1/48 F6F kit from Eduard. This episode can be also seen as a step by step tutorial on upgrading, assembly, painting and weathering scale model radial engine.

Episode 3 of the Eduard 1/48 F6F-3 video build series will guide you trough the various steps of assembling the scale model. Along with that you will see how some scratch built details affect the overall appearance of this scale model.
Episode 4. - Paint
Eduard 1/48 F6F-3. Episode 4 of the video build series will guide you trough the various steps of masking and painting the scale model. The FAA scheme plus the invasion stripes and the red nose add up to a very colorful airplane, but to get even better results several layers of effects will be added.
Episode 5. - Weathering
Episode 5 of the Eduard 1/48 F6F-3 video build series will guide you trough the various steps of weathering the scale model. Here you can see how I weather the decals, apply pin wash, salt weathering, chipping, oil dot filters, exhaust stains, fuel and oil stains and dust. All the above push the scale model to a more realistic appearance and enhances its visual attractiveness.

Do you thin your pain when you use a brush? I suck at painting and I'm not very experienced. I hate leaving brush marks though.
